Today, we will visit a great cooperation partner of the Märklin Start up Club.
Therefore, we travel near Munich, to be precise, to Geiselgasteig.
The Bavaria Filmstadt, one of the biggest and most modern studios for television, movies and commercials in Germany is located there.
The 300,000 m² big Bavaria Filmstadt is the place where much of what you know from the cinema or the television is made. For example, the recent action movie "Big Game" with Samuel L. Jackson as the US President.
During a guided tour through the film city you may often take a look behind the scenes.
Enjoy an exciting mixture of Michael Bully Herbig's world of ideas on about 1,500 m² and two floors! There are medial fireworks consisting of shows to take part in, a time travel through Bully's great movies, including interactive games and about 300 original exhibits – much of that in 3 D, touchable and extremely funny. The ideal programme in case of bad weather!
During a presentation at the 4D cinema, you can experience the "WILD WEST MINE RIDE".
Of course, you can look forward to reduced admission fees with every single tour across the whole park area. You will find the exact fees on the film city web site: http://www.filmstadt.de. The Bavaria Filmstadt employees are looking forward to you.
